Currently the list are organised as below:
By Ages - Picture Books, Fiction for Young Readers and Fiction for Young Adults
By Book type - Fiction, poetry, and non-fiction, audio books, theatre and play.
Some books like a picture book in verse or a non-fiction picture book will feature in both lists.
The first two lists are more comprehensive across the ages and type of books.
British Kidlit by Creators of Colour is a list that features all the books in our list, regardless of whether the book was written or illustrated by a creator of colour.
British Kidlit by Illustrators of Colour is a list that features books by illustrators of colour who might have illustrated books that are written by everyone alongside the books they've created for writers of colour or their own books when they are the author-illustrator.
Currently the bookshop lists are ordered in the same order as entry. There is no way to randomise the appearance of the books in the list on bookshop.org.
There are plans to include more lists that are specific to school topics, what readers are looking for and festive occasions. So watch this space!
